We did a quick visit to Stanford and this place was great. Easy to see all options, quick service, good food and good price.

Ordered spicy tikka masala, burrito and 2 slices of pizza. Been here multiple times. The pizza order had an issue but that was resolved easily. No issue here. All well. However, when I asked for a cup for water, was ignored. Then I politely asked the lady again and she curtly told me she heard me the first time. Did not see any reaction verbal or otherwise that she had heard me. I politely asked her “how would I know if you have when you do not acknowledge my request?”. And then she curtly told me on my very polite statement the following and I paraphrase: “Then we did not hear each other”. The tone was little aggressive. It is nice to be nice and polite. I was but did not get that in return. It happens sometimes. Pointing out to perhaps make things better. Pull out the video and you will see. Around 7:40 pm on June 08th. Please train your employees. This is one of the most popular eateries on the Stanford campus, located near the Stanford Union Bookstore. Most of the time, I’ve seen this place completely packed, and it offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after a project meeting to grab lunch, and even then, it was quite busy. The menu has a wide range of options—pizzas, sandwiches, rice bowls, and even some Indian and Chinese dishes. I was very hungry, so I went for an Indian-style bowl with basmati rice and spicy chicken tikka masala. The portion size was good and definitely sufficient for one person. As an Indian, I can’t say this is the best Indian food I’ve ever had, but for a campus eatery, it was satisfying and comforting. I do wish the bowl came with a small salad on the side, which would have made it more balanced. That said, the place has a lively atmosphere, reasonable prices, and seems to offer special deals like Taco Tuesdays and margarita specials. Overall, it’s a solid, pocket-friendly option on campus, and I’d definitely come back again.

Stopped by after work for an early dinner. Ordered two vegan dishes - the teriyaki mushroom veggie bowl and the chana masala. I think it would be better to toss the veggies in the sauce and serve them over the rice. The chana masala was ok, spicier than what I prefer. I liked the decorations inside the restaurant, there were plenty of tables outside as well.

Came here to try the vegan options. So far only had the tofu teriyaki bowl and it was very underwhelming. Veggies had no flavor, like they were just frozen and steamed. Otherwise the sauce tasted pretty good and the rice was cooked well.
